Just got done with my Summer Project I promised myself to do and it's not officially summer yet! I'm completely satisfied with it, just the way I pictured it to be. And the best part, there's more room for expansion (space not shown). Here are some pictures! Enjoy!

My Love for Steven Tyler

Dream On Dream On Dream On 
Dream until your dreams come true 

Wow! This song was launched in 1973, way before most of my blog readers where born including me! I so love this song for its meaning and melody and lately, I've been listening to it. This song is so timeless and is in my most Favorite Rock n' Roll list. That being said, the lead singer of Aerosmith, Steven Tyler, well... what is there not to like about him? Besides his feather hair extensions and his sense of fashion, his husky voice never cease to amaze me! I grew up listening to Aerosmith because my brother played their songs/album almost everyday back in the 90's.

I love his fashion style and choice of jewelry which lead me to think that maybe one day, I'll do a Steven Tyler inspired line (:

so DREAM ON!

Studio Progress, Brooklyn Bridge, Water Street, Mid Summer Line

Hey guys! Hope you're all doing well... I'm pretty psyched using this slideshow on my blog, that means, more pictures and less space! I finished painting my home art studio and already started assembling my organizers. This weekend will be my table and some decorations, then, I'm pretty much set! Hope you enjoy these pictures!

Brooklyn Bridge

Today was a sunny, hot and humid day... perfect for a relaxing walk from NYC to Brooklyn via the Brooklyn Bridge! The fresh breeze coming from the river side cooled us down quite a bit and helped us make it to our destination, Jacques Torres Chocolate on Water Street. It's about less than an hour walk including our stops for picture taking.

Water Street

This is located between the Manhattan Bridge and Brooklyn Bridge. There's a few shopping areas close to the Brooklyn Bridge Park and of course, Jacques Torres-my most favorite chocolate place! I love chocolates and I don't know what I'd do without it!  We've been going here for years and their Hot Chocolate and Frozen hot chocolate never fails me! We shall be back again!

Mid-Summer Line

There will be a few items coming up in July. In this collection, you'll see The PurpleShmurple Shoppe's first bangle collection! I'm very excited about this because I love bangles and enjoy designing them, and to finally put them up in the store for summer excites me even more!

Also, a new DreamCatcher Necklace is coming out so watch out for it!

Home Art Studio, Dominique and Custom Jewelry

Home Art Studio
Hey guys! It's been awhile since my last blog, just busy busy busy! Earlier this year, I have mentioned that my summer project will be a home art studio. It's in the works right now and my mind is busy designing on how it would look like. Yesterday, I went to IKEA and Lowe's to buy storage organizers, a new table, some desk organizers and of course, paint! The colors of my walls will be yellow and orange for warm and happy working place. I cannot wait for the finish product but most of all, excited working on it!

I love inspiring other people creating their own jewelry! Last week, I had an opportunity to teach Dominique who showed a strong interest in claying. She asked me if I would teach her and said... "of course" (: By the end of our claying session, she was happy and said that she had a blast! I look forward to her very own jewelry line one day. I like to share my talents in anyway I can.

Prayer Bracelet & Flower Dreamcatcher Necklace

The Prayer bracelet is currently out of stock however, I'm making another one with different beads. This will be made of crystal glass beads with diamond-like facets (picture shown). This will be available soon so watch out for it!

This Dreamcatcher necklace is not available in the store yet.  This piece is more of the traditional web design. I made the web like forming "petals" of a flower. I will post a comment on FB or Twitter, or even a blog when it comes up in the store.
