GERMANY

Got back from Germany on Sunday and i can't believe it's over! A week went by so fast and I remember planning it not too long ago... So much things to do in so little time but we enjoyed every bit of it! Except the fact that everything cost so much more than the States! Bought coffee few times a day (since we love their kafe creme) and each cup cost from 2-3.5 Euros! Anyway, we love the experience and that's what counts! Now, back to work and reality! Just wanted to share some photos with you!

So there you have it! Germany is so beautiful! I would go back in a heart beat if I can! 

I'm halfway done with the Cupcake necklaces (need 50) that need to be donated for the Epilepsy Foundation of Florida. November is Epilepsy month so I'm working on necklaces to donate to the Foundation at the beginning of November.

C H I C A G O

10/10/10 is a good day to run the marathon! Except I'm not running it! My husband, right at this moment, is out with some 45,000 marathoners running it! I admire their drive to do it because i can only do 1 1/2 miles tops! Anyway, Yesterday, we officially started our first vacation of the year! Chicago definitely has a personality of its own like any other states. The streets are much cleaner than NYC and the people are so much nicer! All colors of the leaves have already changed and they're beautiful! Yesterday, we went to try their deep dish pizza at Lou Malnati's. The best thing about their pizza for me is the crust! soooo yummy. Other than that, i prefer NY pizza (:

My Day in NYC!

just came home from my backyard... NYC! had a lovely day with our family visiting from sunny California! Fall has finally arrived! Temperature has dropped to the mid 60's and was excited to wear my purple jacket! However, the colors of the leaves in Central Park has not changed yet. We will come back to Central park in 3 weeks for a personal photo shoot that my friend from http://www.bukomedia.com/ is taking. Today, we went to Little Italy and ate at Lombardi's (http://www.firstpizza.com/)to sample their delicious pizzas! And ohhh yes! I highly recommend it! I want to share pictures taken today from my new Canon camera!

Fall Collection 2010 and Ally Burnett

I am pleased to announce that the Fall Line Jewelry Collection is now out just two days before the fall season starts! What has inspired me in making this collection are the brisk colors of the end of summer to the rich warm colors of the autumn and fall season. I used polymer clay, antiqued copper colored findings and ceramic beads. Polymer clay is one of my favorite mediums to use because it is very forgiving. If you created something that you're not totally satisfied, you can just start all over merely without wasting. In this collection, I have mastered many techniques using polymer clay and my most favorite technique was making a faux turquoise where in many processes were done to achieve a high quality turquoise texture and look. One of the materials i love to use were ceramic beads. I've always used crystal and glass beads before but I think that ceramic beads are perfect for the fall collection because of their rich color and different textures. This collection has been my most challenging yet most satisfying line I've ever done. Each and every jewelry is meticulously handmade to achieve the highest quality I can offer. And with that, I am very well pleased.
